The DCP Lab houses six PCs and one Mac which are equipped to meet the needs of individuals with vision, mobility and learning impairments. Staff members are available, on a daily basis, to evaluate individuals' specific needs and provide subsequent training in the use of appropriate software. The lab is also open to those needing adaptive software to complete work related tasks.

• Kurzweil 3000 - Reading aid for learning disabled individuals with speech output
• ZoomText Xtra - Screen Magnifier
• Dragon Naturally Speaking - Voice Recognition Software

A variety of alternative mice and keyboards are also available.

All lab chairs and tables are ergonomically designed.                 

Lab Hours

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. We have a small staff and may be away from the Lab occasionally. We will post times when we will be gone as far in advance as possible, both on the Lab door and this page.
